Catch Me- England/Reader
Arthur watched ______ with a glitter of mirth in his eyes, carding his fingers through his tousuled blonde hair. His lover stood several paces away from him, feet firmly planted in the snow. "You need not be afraid," He laughed, extending a hand towards her "It's perfectly safe."
"You're certain?" The Englishman nodded.
He had initially hoped to waste the day beisde the fire, perhaps reading or watching old Christmas films, but a sudden inclination towards a more...romantic pursuit had overtook him. He'd drove himself and his lover through the snow and the vast country estate that he lived on, and now they were standing at the edge of a froz

Turkish Delight- England/Reader
Arthur watched the cup of tea on the table before him, the archaic, chipped little cup exuding fragranced steam. Golden sunlight spilled into his living-room, highlighting both the constellation of freckles about the emerald eyes and the bags beneath them. Inky, abyssal night had given way to a mild winter morning- But the ghosts were still there. He had instantly tried to salvage the pride he had left, but following the confrontation with his lover he didn't believe there was much left to prevent her sympathy. She had called it the inevitability of time, he'd called it the consequence of greatness. That power had once been his drug, his addi

He's having the nightmare again.
He can feel leather clinging to his clammy skin, the bitter cold seeping into his limbs and the streams of cardinal red creeping like some scarlet monster towards him. It's dark and the ship is rocking, the protesting floorboards beneath his feet groaning and creaking as he steps backwards. There is no mercy in the hard emerald gaze, the figure slumped before him clinging with ice-cold hands to his polished boots- There's a blind submission in the face, an exhilariting fear and adrenaline coursing through Arthur's veins. He's done it before, but this time the it is so much sweeter. Salt and blood and leather;

Till Death do us Part- Soldier!England/Reader 8.
Somewhere in Berlin, a young woman hurries through the streets. She keeps her head bowed, vulnerable as she scurries through the rubble of devestated houses and past the large groups of soldiers that patrol the cobbles. The war had taken its toll on everyone now, and the drawn lines on the men's faces and their dark, sunken eyes sends involuntary chills down the girl's spine. The sky is turbulent above her, darkening to an inpenetrable, inky blackness strewn with obsidian clouds. The occasional plane hurtles by with a cacophany of sounds, more than once the scream of metal as it screeched towards the ground on the horizon. Everywhere is a war

_______ smiled up at Alfred, baring her plastic fangs at him and giving a half-hearted snarl. Halloween was finally drawing to a close, and her American friend was escorting her home; they were both a complete mess, capes snapping in the wind and lips coated with sugar, but they were still making the most of the time they had left. Alfred towered above her, clad in a rather garish super-hero outfit, and despite her initial reluctance she had got into the spirit of things and dressed herself in a vampire outfit. As they walked, however, she doubted that the American was truly a hero. Ghost-stories had been swapped in abundance at the Halloween

That Knife-Sharp Smile
London, 1940
It was a star-strewn night, the air cool and still. Far above the streets of London a thick fog hung, occasional planes hurtling through the darkness with sirens blaring into the night. Not a soul was to be seen on the streets, the cobbles deserted and rubble occupying every corner; no lights flickered within windows from behind black-out blinds. All was still, all was quiet.
Almost too quiet.
The German Pilot circling above the abandoned English capital did not expect the sudden change in atmosphere. First he barely registered the cold seeping into the cock-pit of his plane, but then he gave an instinctive curl of the fingers

Alfred beamed across the table at Arthur, cobalt eyes twinkling. The American had been enquiring into the Englishman's love life once again, eager for both details and the other blondes friendship. Reluctant as he was, it soothed Arthur to speak of the past and all he'd left behind, and to an extent he supposed he could tolerate the enthusiastic boy who longed to stay in his company. In the end Alfred resorted to asking Arthur how he and ______ had met, so the Englishman then obliged...
It had been a miserable, tumultuous day. Rain hammered against the windows, Arthur's home groaning and complaining from its very foundations as the storm sho

______ stared at Francis from across the table, unsure what to say. The Frenchman for once was without his customary cigarette, picking with delicate disdain at the meal in front of him. The young woman had finished her own food some time ago, now swirling some wine around the depths of her glass- She wasn't one for alcohol, so began to cast her gaze elsewhere. The air was heavy and fragrant, the scents of polished wood and exquisite food mingling along with the orchestral strains of the Savoy Havana Band. ______ had only ever visited the Savoy on one other occasion (with Arthur), and the opulance was not something she was particularly used t
